The Maintenance Tech at K & S Manufacturing will assist in ensuring equipment and facilities are in top operating conditions by maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Preventative maintenance of machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
  • Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and doing other preventive maintenance actions.
  • Proceed on assignments with minimum supervision and work is subject to final inspection.
  • Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 2-3 years of prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with in CNC desired
  • Experience in Tool & Die highly desired.
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, electrical, PLC controllers and process equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities / tasks on a routine basis.
  • Must be detail oriented.
