McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Radiology Tech for its Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include : performing diagnostic general radiology following prescribed safety standards in operating imaging equipment, consults physicians / radiologists as necessary, examines images for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness, and performs general radiologic procedures as required, instructs patients regarding procedures. Observes patient for vital signs during examination, follows prescribed safety standards in operating imaging equipment, uses radiation protection according to department policy and procedures, selects length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis, examines radiologic image for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness, delivers diagnostic images to radiologists for reading / interpretation, demonstrates competency in general radiology. This is an as needed position to cover for vacation, sick days, etc. There are no set hours.

Education

• Completion of accredited course radiologic technology or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Certification / License

Days : Monday - Friday. Saturday & Sunday

Hours : As needed M-F varying hours 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM. Saturday and / or Sunday 9 AM - 5 : 00 PM.

$2.50 / per hour pay differential when working Saturday and / or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday ask for details.

Experience
