Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, be comfortable with client interaction, and possess the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution with appropriate mentorship and support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Manage case files and deadlines efficiently
  • Participate in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review
  • Assist in trial preparation and, when appropriate, represent clients in court
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve client objectives

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington State (or eligible for reciprocity)
  • 1–3 years of litigation experience preferred, but strong new attorneys will be considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
