🏥 Emergency Room RN (Travel) – Cone Health

Location : North Carolina (Cone Health System – Multiple Campuses)

Shift : 3x12-Hour Days | 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM

Schedule : Every weekend, holidays as needed

Duration : 13 Weeks (with potential to extend)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 / week

Start Date : 10 / 28 / 2025

Float : Required to other Cone Health campuses as needed

Local Radius : 50 miles – Locals NOT accepted

✅ Qualifications :

  • Required Experience :

    • Minimum 2 years ER experience

  • EPIC experience – REQUIRED
  • Telemetry / Stepdown experience preferred
  • First-time travelers welcome!
  • Certifications (Required) :

    • BLS (AHA only)

  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • PALS
  • Preferred Certifications :

    • TNCC

  • Experience in STEMI / Stroke Certified facilities
  • License :

    • Active RN license (North Carolina or compact) – Must be in hand at submission

    🩺 Key Skills & Clinical Requirements :

  • Emergency care for all age groups : neonates to geriatrics
  • EKG Interpretation Test required during onboarding (2 attempts only – no study materials provided)
  • Must be competent in :

    • Triage & trauma care

  • Dysrhythmia recognition & management
  • Arterial / central line care
  • IV vasopressors, sedation, ventilator management
  • Stroke / MI protocols
  • Pediatric & adult emergency management

    • 📝 Compliance Notes :

  • Full compliance file due by Wednesday (12 PM EST) prior to start
  • All RTO must be submitted upfront ; none accepted post-submission
  • Education verification required via 3rd party; no diplomas from Florida Audit Fraud List accepted

    • Background Check : No open cases accepted
