Our ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, and hospice care - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events. Ambassadors and staff work as a team to provide compassionate care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Make coffee and stock snacks
• Keep kitchen tidy and organized
• Stock small supply closets
• Be a supportive presence for hospice families
• Fill in for other volunteers - when you have the time
• Answer phone occasionally (this is optional)
• Weekday, weekend and evening shifts are available
• Some walking and bending are involved
• Must be16 years of age or older
• Seasonal flu shot and TB testing are required
