job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform final fit up and cleanup Perform final quality inspection and fix or reject product as appropriate Coordinates and train as Level II Assembler / Glazer Provide feedback on current and upcoming projects. High school diploma or GED, with higher education or vocational training specializing in fabrication 2-3 year experience working with aluminum and / or stainless steel and / or painted and unpainted products 2-3 year experience with shop / hand tools; can use / read tape measure, operate air tools, drill, grinder, sander 3-5 years experience in assembly & / or glazing Familiarity with steps in the building process to identify problems during assembly Forklift certification Excellent knowledge of fabrication Basic mechanical and math skills Ability to read drawings and blueprints Work is performed in an unheated manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, aluminum dust and hazardous materials such as paint thinner, acetone and cleaners Requires constant standing or kneeling and extensive close work Using appropriate safety equipment, ability to lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds; carry 150 pounds The employer reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position
