About The Position

Family Practice Locums Physician - California, Near the Coast

Explore an outpatient Family Medicine assignment in California, near the coast and less than an hour from Los Angeles.

Highlights

  • Dates still available; potential to extend past initial 13+ weeks
  • No call; enjoy full evenings and weekends off
  • Less than 1 hour from the ocean
  • Common outpatient procedures only, no inpatient care

Practice Setting

  • Primary care outpatient clinic
  • Team includes medical assistants, practice manager, and front office support
  • Serve primarily adult patients with a preventive care focus

    • Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • 7 hours of patient care, 1 hour for charting
  • No weekends, no call, no rounding

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Average 18-20 patients / day
  • Routine outpatient procedures like biopsies and sutures
  • Epic experience required

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Active California license, DEA, and BLS

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Local candidates strongly preferred
  • Located near the Southern California coast
