Clinic Manager

Our Medical Clinic is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, patient-centered Clinic Manager. This Full-Time position is Mon-Fri with competitive pay and excellent benefits package available.

The Rural Health Clinic Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations and clinical functions of the Rural Health Clinics. This role works collaboratively with providers, medical staff, and senior leadership to support high-quality, patient-centered care. Also provides direct supervisory oversight for nursing and support staff while ensuring compliance with all organizational policies, Rural Health Clinic regulations, in alignment with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Cozad Community Health System.

  • Provides a purposeful, patient- and family-centered partnership with the healthcare team that facilitates a seamless patient experience.
  • Collaborates with providers and staff to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
  • Designs and implements onboarding and training programs for new clinical staff; regularly evaluates clinical skills and provides coaching and professional development.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, licensure, accreditation, and Rural Health Clinic requirements.
  • Assists with the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Helps develop operational plans and contributes to budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Supports quality improvement initiatives and tracks performance metrics related to patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Oversees staff scheduling and day-to-day operations to ensure efficient clinic flow and patient access.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and all clinic staff.
  • Promotes a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory, licensure, and accreditation requirements.
  • Follows all HIPAA guidelines and promotes and ensures patient safety.
  • Fulfills mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive and professional environment.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities Manages employees in the Rural Health Clinics, including RNs, LPNs, Medical Support Assistants, and support staff. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partners with the Director of Rural Health Clinics to align staffing and clinic operations with organizational goals.

Education and / or Experience Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Nursing, or related field or equivalent experience. Two years' experience in healthcare or clinical setting.

Licensure / Certification Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Nebraska (preferred). Basic Life Support (CPR)

Ability to operate a motor vehicle and complete errands based on business needs.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. The noise level in the office and clinic environment is usually moderate.
