We are seeking a Senior Controls Systems Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a technically proficient, self-motivated team player who thrives in an environment focused on new R&D initiatives and continuous improvement of existing products. Join our innovative team and help us design, build, and refine the technology that supports critical operations around the world.
Key Responsibilities :
Define technical requirements and documentationLead cross-functional teams of electrical, mechanical, and software engineersCollaborate with programmers to debug or author control system softwareCreate technical reports to document design analysis and test requirementsDevelop operation manuals and customer-facing documentsGenerate schematics, drawings, and other design assetsLead or assist in the development of test fixtures and production processesConduct systems-level design reviews with engineering teams and clientsMaintain design configuration control for assigned projects / productsRequired Qualifications :
Strong electrical aptitude, critical thinking, and common senseAbility to conceptualize, design, and troubleshoot analog and digital circuitsAbility to program and configure software-controlled devicesProgramming in C, C++, or similar languages is required
Embedded controller experience is a plusBS in Engineering required; MS in a technical field is a plusEquivalent technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree
5+ years experience in an R&D or product development environmentSolid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineeringStrong organizational and task management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Skills (Pluses) :
Experience with :Circuit board layout
3D CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks)ERP / MRP systemsManufacturing environmentsAbility to grow into a project management roleBackground in aviation and / or automationWillingness to travel 1–3 times per year for system debug or trainingIf you are unable to travel occasionally, please do not apply.
