Perform skilled work in one or more trades, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, refrigeration, or electrical machinery servicing.Take ownership of maintenance and repair tasks related to HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, and heating systems throughout the resort.Assist with the purchasing, installation, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and similar systems to ensure long-term performance, guest comfort, and operational reliability.Lead and inspire a team of maintenance and grounds technicians, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, professionally, and with pride.Model and promote a workplace culture rooted in safety, accountability, kindness, and professional development.Monitor system performance and collaborate with your team to identify and implement efficiency and reliability improvements.Work cross-functionally with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Mountain Operations, Special Events, and our sister resorts to support daily and seasonal operations, and special projects.Serve as a mentor and coach, helping team members grow in confidence, skills, and career pathways.Support capital projects, renovations, and resort upgrades, contributing hands-on expertise and strategic insights aligned with both seasonal needs and long-term goals.Job Requirements : Education
High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical certification or Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Management preferredExperience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a commercial or resort settingAt least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role with a focus on team developmentMust obtain Pennsylvania Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification within 90 days of hireTechnical Skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systemsProficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manualsExperienced with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems); experience with MaintainX is a strong plusSoft Skills
