This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.
• Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine effects on product engineering design and rate estimates; identify robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
• Validate contractual performance milestones, maintain configuration control, conduct reviews, prepare plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
• Conduct training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
• Develop and implement work-arounds and maintain configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
• Perform studies and make recommendations for disposition of assets.
• Design, analyze and modify aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Research, develop, evaluate and integrate robotics, automation, and new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.
• Estimate, plan, manage and execute the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.
• Develop and implement testing and acceptance to validate performance.
• Create and maintain related documentation for equipment and tooling; develop preventative maintenance plans and train personnel as needed.
• Develop and implement interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.
• Investigate engineering changes and control equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.
• Develop and recommend equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.

Min Pay Rate : 55 USD hourly; Max Pay Rate : 60 USD hourly.
