Customer Service Representative
Location : Houston, TX
Position Reports To : Customer Service Manager
Schedule : 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM. Some overtime and some weekends may be required.
Compensation : Commensurate with experience and skills
Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce system to manage assigned work
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and email inbox
- Converse with customers and internal departments regarding various service questions
- Research customer account requirements
- Process account and invoice corrections
- Support sales representative on any questions or requests
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
Basic Requirements
Must be able to pass background screeningMust be local (live within 60 miles)Minimum one year experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environmentMinimum one year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customersStable employment historyProfessional appearance and demeanorIntermediate mathematical skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook programsMust be able to type minimum of 30 WPMExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including spelling and grammarExcellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlinesAdept at problem solvingFlexible with changeWillingness to accept constructive criticism and learnMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanorPreferred
