Join our team as an IV Pharmacy Technician, ensuring seamless medication delivery to long term care facilities. Our IV Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing sterile admixtures and compounding IV solutions while following 797 USP Standards. Our IV Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in maintaining cleanroom standards, managing inventory and handling documentation.
Location : Onsite 962 S Dorset Rd, Troy, OH 45373
Compensation : $18.00
Schedule : 3 : 00PM – 11 : 30PM, Monday – Friday (one holiday a year and one weekend shift a month)
Report To : IV Pharmacy Technician Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :
The ability to adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct, follow Remedi Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerFilling IV orders to include, but not limited to, mixing IV medications, mathematically calculating doses, applying all sterile techniques as applicable to the jobSending supplies and equipment to facilitiesMaintaining all IV mixing records.Performing regular cleaning and maintenance check on all equipmentProgramming of all infusion pumpsData entry of all applicable I.V. ordersResponsible for the ordering of supplies from various vendorsPerform other tasks as requiredPerform technician assignments as requested by the pharmacy managementMaintain all IV pharmacy related equipment and supplies in the equipment rental logActively contributes to the evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies and proceduresAssists with ensuring safety policy and procedures are practiced and adhered.Participates in special projects to identify and implement operational improvementsAbility to work with others in a positive productive manner anticipates and responds to the position’s areas of responsibilitiesQualifications :
High School graduate or equivalent requiredCurrent National / State Pharmacy Certification preferred, basic computer knowledge skills required, must understand medical terminology, math and analytical skillsPrevious pharmacy technician experience preferred. Sterile compounding experience preferred.Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary languageSkills & Abilities :
