Sorter - 1st Shift

Groot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections is currently hiring for a 1st Shift - Sorter located at their recycling facility in Elk Grove Village, IL !

Responsibilities Include :

o Sorting recycled material onto different conveyor belts and moving material to the appropriate areas.

o Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.

o Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.

o Assuming custodial duties as needed.

o Other manual labor that does not involvethe operation ofheavy equipment.

Requirements :

o Ability to perform minimal computer related tasks.

o Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.

o Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
