Responsibilities Work in a community hospital covering Labor & Delivery, OB, and Mother / Baby within an all-in-one unit 90-bed facility with Paragon EMR system L&D nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 1-2, Mother / Baby ratio is 3 couplets per nurse Scheduled 12-hour shifts from 07 : 00 AM to 07 : 30 PM Call is required if a shift is cancelled Caregivers may float as helping hands in low census situations Responsibilities include caring for patients in Labor & Delivery, OB, and Mother / Baby settings COVID vaccine is not required; proof or declination form must be provided Flu vaccine is required unless declined, with mask mandate if declined Flu vaccine deadline is October 31st May be required to assist in other areas as needed during low census Standard hospital scrub attire is expected Requirements Active NY RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, NIHSS, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required NIHSS certification must be obtained by contract start At least 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke topics required prior to start Proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract Scrub experience preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-626034.
