Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Title : Part-Time Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Location : Grand Rapids, MI

Compensation : Up to $28 / hr

Schedule : 20-25 hours / week; Hybrid

Role Overview :

The Part-Time AR Specialist will focus on cash application and collections in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, strong communication, and ERP proficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts (mainly via email; some phone contact).

Apply customer payments accurately to accounts and reconcile discrepancies (cash application).

Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment status.

Support general finance functions for other locations.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2+ years of AR / collections experience.

Any ERP system familiarity required.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

AP experience and / or any college degree is a plus.

Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
