Thompson Pipe Group is currently looking for an Industrial Diesel Mechanic!

Job Summary :

Under general supervision performs very specific skilled work. Maintains the plant’s mechanical, diesel, electrical, and electronic equipment. Welds to repair and fabricate components essential to production processes. Maintains and repair’s structure, piping, fixtures and equipment. Performs predictive and preventive maintenance. Performs other duties of a similar nature as may be required.

Pay : $35 / hour - DOE

Qualifications :

• Understand basic electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics
• Properly use tools like electrical meters, hydraulic gauges, and lifting equipment
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Valid Drivers license and clean driving record
• Welding / fabrication experience
• Must know how to safely work around and with heavy equipment / object
• Able to measure accurately with calipers, feeler gauges, and tape measures
• Be able to work 40+hours per week
