Overview

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Orchard Path - is seeking an Engineer / Maintenance Technician for its team.

Schedule / Hours : Mon-Fri (8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM), 80 hours bi-weekly

Reporting Structure : This position reports to the Environmental Service Director.

Situated on Cobblestone Lake in Apple Valley, Orchard Path offers lakeside activities and urban conveniences. It has 115 independent apartments, 58 assisted living, and 20 memory care apartments, providing options like Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for working independently and as part of a team to maintain a safe environment by managing buildings, grounds, and equipment per regulations and policies. Responsibilities include :

  • Building and equipment repair
  • Troubleshooting complex problems
  • Working with contractors and vendors
  • Maintaining life safety systems
  • Preventive maintenance routines
  • Completing daily work orders
  • Building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
  • Painting
  • Apartment turns
  • Customer requests
  • Snow removal
  • Pool care
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in commercial or residential building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, follow directions, and work under supervision
  • Professional image and customer service skills
  • Alignment with PHS's mission and philosophies
  • Proficiency in English communication
  • Participation in after-hours emergency on-call rotation
  • Minimum 2nd Class C Boilers License
  • Experience with commercial chillers preferred
  • Experience with MagicPak a plus

    • Pay Range

    Estimated starting pay : $26.33 - $30.12 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications and market conditions.
