Phlebotomist

Pay Range : $22.94 - $27.85 per hour, based on experience.

Position Summary : Collects blood specimens, according to physician orders, from in patients and outpatients and delivers the specimens to the laboratory for analysis. Performs a variety of duties, which include, filing laboratory results and computer order entry.

Education / Training : High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of phlebotomy program through an accredited phlebotomy program required. Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Experience : Phlebotomy experience preferred; computer experience preferred

Licensure, Registration or Certification : ASCP preferred
