• Clearance Requirements : Tier 3 Background Investigation - National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, and fingerprints. (Standard Form 86).
• Estimate Pay : $80,000 - $85,000 per year (Negotiable)
• T ype of Employment : 40 hours per week.
• P eriod of Performance : 16 December 2024 15 May 2027.
• Paid Time Off per Year : 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Sick Leave per Year : 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
• Paid Federal Holidays : Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays
• Travel : No Travel is authorized.
• Telecommuting : Telecommuting is authorized on an ad-hoc or situational basis for this contract. Routine (3 or less days per week) or full-time (5 days per week) telecommuting may be authorized upon the written approval.

W orking Hours :

Work will be scheduled normally from 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when employees must work outside of duty hours or on weekends in support of specific tasking. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week. Temporary alternate work locations may be assigned.

Summary

The Facility Security Specialist will support the Office of the Surgeon General, Headquarters United States Air Force, including answering questions and processing documents according to the local procedures and policies in accordance with Department of the Air Force and the National Industrial Program; Industrial Security Procedures for Government Activities, Department of Defense, and Information Security Programs.
