Business Process Engineer

We are currently seeking a Commercial Ops Business Process Engineer in Portage, MI for a 12-month contract with potential to extend. The Commercial Ops Business Process Engineer is tasked with the responsibility to deliver process excellence across the Instruments Commercial Operations team. The role's purpose is to design, build and deploy best practice Commercial Operations processes and systems across the Instruments division. The role will help execute the strategic vision for building a world class Commercial Operations function, owned by the Commercial Ops Sr. Director. The role will work with the various functions within the Commercial Operations team to deploy new capabilities and standardize approaches across the Division. The role will interface with Sales, IT, Finance, Marketing, Global Quality & Operations, ProCare, Customer Solutions and Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deployment of the key Commercial Operations processes across the division and drive cross-BU collaboration.
• Drive process development related to Commercial Operations, including Field Operations, Business Unit Planning, Commercial Analytics, MDM, Demand Planning, Inventory Management and Product Lifecycle Management.
• Partner on projects and initiatives with BU teams (Marketing, Sales & R&D) as well as shared functions including Finance, GQ&O, Compliance, RAQAC and others.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and other stakeholders regarding project status, resource needs and budgetary considerations.
• Partner with the Commercial Analytics team to develop Metrics and increase speed and access to data for Commercial Operations.
• Develop and maintain a process framework for documentation and build a process documentation repository.
• Support the Division by coaching and supporting the Commercial Ops team in deploying revised processes and tools within the franchise.
• Communicate and track progress of key projects and enhancements for the franchise to ensure stakeholders are kept up to date.
