Job Title : Continuous Improvement Engineer

Compensation : Up to $110,000 base salary + full benefits
We are partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in the West Nashville area is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead initiatives that drive operational excellence. This role focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost efficiency through continuous improvement practices.
The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects using Lean and other CI methodologies.
- Analyze production and process data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions using root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, job instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Train and mentor team members on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- Track and report on KPIs to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of process improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and systems teams to leverage technology solutions for operational improvements.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (required).3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or related environment.Intermediate understanding of Lean or other process improvement methodologies.Certified problem solver preferred (AOSos or equivalent).Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process analysis tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.Effective communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with teams.Lean certification (Shingo, AME, SME) or trainer certification in problem-solving.Experience with process mapping, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or data visualization / statistical tools (Minitab, Tableau, Power BI).Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, or regulatory compliance.
