About The Position

We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm. The Neurologist will work closely with a Physiatrist, managing acute and general neurological cases, including assessments for Alzheimer’s and ALS, performing injections for migraines, and conducting EMGs and EEGs when indicated. Candidates with strong customer service skills are highly encouraged to apply.

  • Schedule : Ideally 2 consecutive weeks per month (Monday to Friday), 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with a Physiatrist to assess and manage acute neurological cases
  • Perform general neurologic procedures, including injections for migraines
  • Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up assessments for conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and ALS
  • Perform EMGs (each lasting approximately 1.5 hours) and order EEGs as appropriate
  • Prioritize high-quality patient care with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Additional Information

  • Vermont medical license required
  • Board certification in Neurology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver outstanding service are essential
