ER RN Travel Job Details

Location : Glens Falls, NY 12801 (Adirondack region)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 8 / 2025 – End : 3 / 7 / 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Emergency Room (43 beds)

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM)

Hours per Week : 36 (Guaranteed)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,990–$2,130 per week

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Schedule : Every other weekend and holiday required

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Active RN license in New York State

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

EPIC electronic health record experience required

De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

Must not have worked as staff at this facility in the past year or within the AMC network in the past six months

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment

Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as needed

Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols and best practices

Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
