Position Overview
As the Advertising Account Coordinator , you’ll play a key supporting role in helping our sales team generate new business and deliver exceptional advertising campaigns across our media channels. You will assist with client relations, digital marketing, and media sales.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Client Coordination (Primary Focus)
- Assist Account Executives in managing client advertising campaigns across radio, digital, and event platforms.
- Coordinate ad copy, scheduling, and digital creative assets to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on time.
- Track campaign timelines and ensure all deliverables are met within client deadlines.
- Act as a liaison between clients, creative services, and traffic / scheduling departments to facilitate smooth communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the company CRM system.
- Monitor campaign performance and assist in compiling results and performance reports for clients.
- Prepare customized sales presentations, advertising proposals, and recap materials.
- Monitor and report on digital metrics including social media engagement, web traffic, and streaming ad impressions.
- Provide administrative support with contracts, invoices, and campaign documentation.
Lead Generation & Business Development Support
Research and identify local businesses and advertising prospects in the community.Assist with outbound communication efforts including cold calls, emails, and lead qualification.Support the sales team in developing advertising pitch decks and promotional material.Team Development & Event Support
Attend station events and assist in executing on-site promotions and client activations.Shadow experienced sales reps to gain exposure to media sales strategies and client interactions.Continuously build knowledge of our media platforms—including radio formats, digital ad tools, and event capabilities.Ideal Candidate
Highly organized with attention to detail and time managementStrong communicator—confident on the phone and professional in writingProactive and eager to learn / work in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-service mindset with a friendly, positive attitudeFamiliar with basic media or marketing concepts (preferred)Tech-savvy : proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace; familiarity with Canva, social media, or CRM tools is a plusEnthusiastic about media, marketing, and advertisingAbility to prioritize timelines and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyQualifications
