What to Expect with this Position :
Schutte Excavating is located in Greensburg, IN. Our company has been steadily growing over the last several years and are looking to expand our workforce. Schutte Excavating’s focus is on Community Development Block Grant Projects, Storm Sewer Projects, General Construction Management, Concrete Construction, Site Development. We travel within a 60-mile radius of Greensburg. Current position we are looking to fill is rough carpenter / concrete finisher. This position would encompass the ability to read and interpret blueprint and drawings and determine specific materials and measurements needed for a project. Understands the construction process. The 3 years of experience forming and finishing concrete, sidewalks, curbs, and structures. Dependability is crucial to this position.
Some specific duties of a rough carpenter may include :
To be successful in this role, a rough carpenter should have the ability to work with precision. They should also have good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
The physical demands of the job may require the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Required to hold a valid driver's license.
