HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Maryville, Tennessee.

Title : MRI Tech

Location : Maryville, TN

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Mid Shift, 5x8-Hour (3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM), includes holiday coverage

Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements :

Perform MRI imaging procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Manage an average of 20 visits per day in a facility with a 150-patient daily census

Utilize GE MRI equipment and EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year EPIC experience required)

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Respiratory, Pharmacy, and Transport

Follow isolation precautions, radiation safety, and contrast administration protocols

Start peripheral IVs when needed

Required Skills and Certifications :

ARRT (MR) or ARRT (Radiology & MRI) or ARMRIT certification

BLS certification

Minimum 1 year of MRI experience

Experience with EPIC charting system

Preferred Skills and Experience :

Prior charge experience

Community hospital background

Proficiency in the following MRI procedures :

Abdomen / Pelvis : MRCP, MRA, MRV, male / female pelvis

Head / Neck : Brain, cranial nerves, soft tissue neck, head / neck MRA & MRV

Spine : Cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum / coccyx, spinal trauma

Chest / Cardiac : MR angio, myocardium, aortogram, pulmonary MR

Musculoskeletal : Knee, hip, shoulder, hand, foot, sternum, extremity long bones

Familiarity with adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma settings

Work Environment : \nPatient ratios : Days 1 : 1, Nights 1 : 2\nFacility includes 1 MRI room, 250 total beds\nMust be flexible to float within the hospital based on staffing needs\n\nAdditional Requirements : \nHoliday coverage required\nFlu vaccine required (no exemptions)\nFloating to other Prisma Health units or campuses may be required (only within scope of competency)
