Hardware Engineer
Responsbilities
- Provide engineering design, development and support for new exterior and Lighting automotive Innovation products to develop concept designs.
- Maintain good communication with external and internal customers including suppliers.
- Capture Hardware requirements for electronic design for applications of Innovation products for automotive application.
- Develop detailed design of electrical / electronic circuit schematics in given tools based on design library or new circuits as needed by working with electronics team. Circuits may include LED driver modules, headlamp control modules, LED matrix drivers, DC / DC-SMPS, microcontrollers and LED arrays, as well as microcontroller less architectures.
- Circuit modeling, Worst Case Circuit Analysis capability
- Support electronics testing and validation to ensure design meets requirements
- Act as a single point of contact for all electrical related topics for assigned projects and maintain documentation to Company processes
- Work with electronic manufacturing suppliers (EMS) or in-house facilities for manufacturing electronics
- Work with electronics component engineering and purchasing to create new parts in Company database for new circuits
- Develop hardware test plans, DFMEA, design rules, new component selection, support Lamp test plan development
Experiance
Minimum 1 year of automotive electronics design, development experienceB.S. in Hardware design with embedded systems design knowledge / computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering equivalent.Working level knowledge of modeling electronic circuits using simulation tools such as PSpice, LTSpice , Matlab or equivalent.Fluent in the use of electronic schematic capture tools.Familiarity or knowledge of engineering tools such as Teamcenter, DOORS NG, Vector CANoe, Mathcad.Design of Power Electronics : Switching Mode Power Supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, Linear regulators in automotive environments are an advantage.Familiar with LIN / CAN / ETH communication protocolsFamiliar with embedded systems design.Strong data analysis and problem-solving skillsCapable of working in a multi-disciplinary group of Optical, Mechanical and Electronics EngineersComputer skills using standard business softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to function in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and handle multiple prioritiesThe ability to self-motivate and work on their own is a must.Date : Oct 24, 2025
