Job Description

Columbia Vehicle Group Inc. is seeking reliable, team-oriented individuals to join our team in Aiken, SC. With over 50 years of history, CVG is a leader in the electric vehicle industry. We promote from within and value long-term growth.

The Opportunity :

We are looking for a talented and experienced Full-Stack Developer to help develop, maintain, and improve our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used across manufacturing, sales, and customer service. The role involves working with databases, module creation, and Python integrations. You will report to the IT manager but are expected to be self-sufficient and a problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Implement and manage databases, including schema creation, query optimization, and data integrity.
  • Analyze existing ERP capabilities to develop enhancements, primarily in Python.
  • Create new modules for the ERP system as needed.
  • Develop and edit APIs.
  • Automate tasks and processes using scripting tools.
  • Review, debug, and optimize code for quality and performance.
  • Participate in testing and validation.
  • Work with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of software, hardware, networks, and security fundamentals.
  • Legal authority to work permanently in the U.S.

    • Desired Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience with Python, HTML, and ERP systems.
  • Experience creating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in SQL, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Odoo ERP and Linux systems.
