As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Logistics Center in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the facility.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
