job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWill work in various physician practices on an as-needed basis. Works under the supervision of the Practice Manager / Coordinator. Is responsible for being able to multitask and all clerical activities. Public / guest relations and communications are key components of the job. Performs other duties to assist manager, coordinator, co-workers, and providers. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Secretary : High School Diploma. Patient Care Technician : High School diploma with preferred completion of at least one quarter or semester of clinical work and medical terminology in a health-related program with a grade of C or higher. Certified Medical Assistant : Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or will be graduating within 6 months of hire. Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body as deemed acceptable by the Practice Manager or will obtain this credentialing within 6 months of hire. LPN / RN : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio. Previous experience in Physician Practice is preferred, but not required.
