Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for weekday day shifts with at least 2 years of experience in sonography.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in an imaging department within a clinical care center
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • No call requirements
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Utilizes Epic for charting, with training provided during orientation or the option to test out
  • A break of at least 13 weeks is required before a returning traveler may begin a new assignment
  • Blocked scheduling is not permitted
  • Requests for time off must be included at the time of consideration and will not be added to the end of the contract
  • Candidates must be located more than 60 miles from the facility; no local candidates are accepted
  • KRONOS is used for timekeeping
  • Holiday coverage for at least two major holidays may be required

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound or sonography experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • All certifications must be from the American Heart Association
  • Must be able to use the Epic EMR system or complete training / test out
