Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal system, alphabetization and change making is required.
  • Proficiency quiz is given upon verification of work study funding; only those scoring 100% are eligible for an interview.
  • Work-study eligibility required.
  • Background check : Yes

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to library patrons (all ages) with informational and computer help.
  • Shelving materials, answering the telephone, stacks maintenance, and building security.
  • Cash handling and check in / out of library materials.
  • Daily and weekly cleaning duties; follow library dress code; lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Assist with general operations as assigned.

    • Work Schedule

    M-Th 8-9 pm, F 8-5 pm, Sunday 12-9 pm
