Job Description

Dynalectric Ohio is a division of DeBra-Kuempel Inc. who is a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc. EMCOR is the world’s leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services, including planning, consulting, and operations and maintenance. DeBra-Kuempel combines the expertise of two of the tri-state’s oldest and most innovative companies, providing mechanical and electrical services to Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Evansville, Lexington, Louisville, and the surrounding areas.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Preparing electric take-offs and bid packages.
  • Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings.
  • Utilize our estimating software Accubid and Change Order.
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
  • Participate in training sessions and continued education.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in electric construction estimating may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
  • Prior experience with Accubid and / or Change Order, preferred.
  • Ability to analyze bid documents and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and build lasting client relationships.
