Med / Surg Float Pool RN Job Details

Location : Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County)

Healthcare Setting : Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Float Pool

Start Date : November 4, 2025

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (potential extension)

Hours per Week : 36 (full-time, on-site)

Hourly Pay Rate : $83.70

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2020 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (required at application)

Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current and valid)

Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided

Med / Surg Float Pool RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as a Float Pool RN

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Administer medications and perform clinical interventions according to hospital protocols

Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
