Position Overview
As an Engineer, you will play a significant part in the success of planning, organizing and implementing project engineering & project controls tasks. Excellent communication, attention to detail and an ability to work well in a team environment are considered critical to this position. We are looking for individuals with motivation and eagerness to expand their skillset in infrastructure construction.
District Overview
Kiewit’s Central District is one of our largest infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete / bridge, water / wastewater, and transportation projects. We self-perform work such as mass grading, drainage, paving, utility and more - so be ready to get your hands dirty! While headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the majority of our work is concentrated in the Central and South-Central regions of the United States. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry rather than design.
Location
First assignment will be determined throughout interview process.
Project locations : TN, KY, NE and surrounding markets.
Must be willing to travel and relocate regionally throughout career.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of engineering or equivalent experience and education
At least 2 years of experience in the construction field
Must have working knowledge and be able to direct the operations of at least these management systems : scheduling - CPM, unit man-hour performance, material control, estimating and subcontracts.
Experience with leadership and management of people, communication (verbal and written), planning and organization.
