Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,120 per week

Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Ashland, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Labor & Delivery / LDRP Registered Nurse (RN) Contract Length : 13 Weeks Shift : 3x12 Days or Nights (7 : 00a–7 : 30p / 7 : 00p–7 : 30a) On-Call Rotation Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Start Date : 2–3 weeks from offer Position Details Department : LDRP – Level I Obstetric & Nursery Care Beds : 5 LDRP, 1 OR suite (for C-sections), 3 postpartum rooms Birth Volume : ~18–20 per month (≈225 per year) Staffing : 3 RNs on days, 2 on nights (follows AWHONN ratios) Call Requirement : 2 × 12-hr night calls per 4-week schedule (7 p–7 a) with 1-hr response time Scheduling : Block scheduling possible; flexibility for days or nights required Weekends : 2 per 4 weeks | Holidays : Every other Floating : Yes – may float to all departments as RN Scrubs : Purple scrubs provided Charting : Epic EMR Job Duties Provide full-spectrum labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care Manage pre-eclampsia, GDM, magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin drips Triage patients and assist with stabilization and newborn care Collaborate with physicians and anesthesia (in-house days / on-call nights) Support a family-centered birth environment and maintain safe, evidence-based practice Participate in cross-department teamwork and low-acuity support when needed Requirements BSN required Active RN license (Compact or state specific) Minimum 2–3 years OB / L&D experience Certifications : BLS (AHA) NRP AWHONN preferred Competent with EFM documentation (GE CPN / Novii system) Prior travel experience preferred Unit Overview Physician Coverage : ~15 OB MDs from 3 clinics; ER physician available for emergent deliveries Anesthesia : In-house days, on-call nights (within 10–15 min response) Respiratory Support : Neopuff T-Piece; preferred experience with use Orientation : 1–2 days unit specific About Genie Healthcare Genie Healthcare is one of the fastest growing Nurse Travel Agencies in the USA.
