Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist experienced in independent retail pharmacy settings, with specialized knowledge in MicroMerchant systems. This contract role is based in the Bronx, NY, and offers both part-time and full-time shifts. The position demands versatility and hands-on expertise beyond simple prescription filling, involving billing, reimbursements, and prescription verification.

Location :

  • Bronx, NY (3027 3rd Avenue, Bronx NY 10455)

Schedule / Hours :

  • Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM 6 : 00 PM
  • Saturday, 10 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Sundays closed

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Processing and verifying prescriptions with attention to accuracy and safety
  • Managing billing and reimbursement processes for pharmacy services
  • Utilizing MicroMerchant software to support pharmacy operations
  • Covering shifts across multiple retail locations within the five boroughs as needed

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Valid New York State Pharmacist License in good standing (no negative standing)
  • Proven recent experience working in independent retail pharmacy (not big-box chains)
  • In-depth familiarity with MicroMerchant software and related pharmacy billing systems
  • Availability to work any day Monday through Saturday to meet operational needs
  • Local candidates preferred for ease of commute and flexibility
