Pay Range : $30.75 – $46.15 / hour (based on experience)

Shift Differentials : Nights +$3.50 / hr | Weekends +$6.00 / hr

Job Description

A well-established regional medical center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our Labor & Delivery unit . This hybrid Charge / Assistant Nurse Manager role is designed for experienced L&D RNs who want to expand their leadership skills. As the overnight resource for a committed team, you will balance direct patient care with leadership responsibilities in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide charge-level leadership and support overnight nursing operations

Deliver patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns

Scrub in and assist with OB surgical cases and deliveries as needed

Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient throughput

Support scheduling, clinical workflows, and inventory management

Guide staff performance, policy compliance, and professional development

Participate in service recovery and team engagement initiatives

Qualifications

Licensure : Current RN license (Tennessee or compact state)

Education : ADN required; BSN preferred

Certifications :

BLS within 30 days of hire

ACLS within 12 months of hire

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Prior leadership experience (L&D, NICU, Women’s Services, or Mother-Baby) required

Must be confident performing deliveries and assisting in OR cases overnight
