Position Overview :
The primary responsibility of the Manager of the Refreshment Center is to manage all operations for the assigned department and perform other duties as assigned. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Manage assigned operational functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department, the division, and Venetian / Palazzo.
- Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
- Assign daily workload to all TMs.
- Supervise daily operations, delegate floors, assign stations, and run daily reports for attendants. Will need RFC Manager's intervention during days off for tasks like replacement part ordering and IT / Facilities work orders.
- Maintain minibars and RFC inventory carts.
- Research and handle all account disputes and inventory reports from accounting and front office status team.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities :
Handle guest challenges for the department.Program and create new templates for the Bartech systems.Run market tests on new products and report on their success or failure.Manage department costs and labor.Maintain the daily optimization report for the department.Manage the departmental quarterly award program.Prepare departmental schedules and flex shifts.Maintain consistent communication with HR, address TM challenges, hire and evaluate staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs.Maintain the time and attendance calendar and update Kronos daily.Additional Duties & Responsibilities :
Contribute to research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes.Analyze daily reports on revenue, profit, labor, and costs; act on opportunities.Monitor fiscal budgets, operations, and marketing strategies to ensure profitability.Use Cognos software to investigate expenses and explain margins not aligned with the budget.Attend departmental meetings related to RFC and Food & Beverage.Delegate tasks and manage department projects, ensuring deadlines are met.Additional Duties & Responsibilities :
Manage the Refreshment Supervisor and 24 attendants.Develop staff skills, manage resources, and control costs.Monitor team performance and address deficiencies.Handle HR responsibilities, including fostering teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, and compliance.Ensure safety and maintain consistent attendance.Perform other related duties as assigned.Company Standards of Conduct :

Minimum Qualifications :
21 years of age.Proof of authorization / eligibility to work in the U.S.High School Diploma or equivalent.Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (Alcohol Awareness, Food Handler's, etc.).3 years of relevant experience.Computer proficiency (AS / 400, Kronos, Excel, BarTech, Mini Bar systems).Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Professional appearance and adherence to guest service standards.Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Requirements :
Ability to access all property areas and drive if necessary.Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines.Prolonged walking, standing, bending, and kneeling.Work indoors in environments with noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.Seniority level : Mid-Senior level
