Job Summary / Job Purpose :
The Warehouse Specialist I is responsible for all receiving, unloading, and shipping functions within the warehouse. They are accountable for verifying materials are received correctly and to ensure incoming materials are inspected for damages, defects, and shortages.
Job Duties / Essential Functions :
- Receives, stores, and distributes material, equipment, and projects within the warehouse.
- Verify the incoming supplies, materials, and equipment items ordered match what was received.
- Inspects incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, defects, shortages,expiration dates and overages and notifies warehouse supervisor or lead of each occurrence.
- Uncrates, inspects, and assembles equipment.
- Prepares and stages orders for delivery, ensuring all items match the order request.
- All other duties assigned.
