Warehouse Worker

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker at a premier steel distribution center located in SE, Minneapolis, MN. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career within a leading national company.

Responsibilities

  • Operate overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts.
  • Cut and process metal coils using saws and cutting equipment.
  • Read and follow work orders meticulously.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, packaging, and bundling tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
  • Meet daily production and quality goals.

Essential Skills

  • 12 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
  • Experience in forklift operation.
  • Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements.
  • Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with overhead cranes is preferred.
  • Skid building.
  • RF scanner usage.
  • Material handling and picking.
  • Knowledge of steel manufacturing.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a steel distribution center that is temperature-controlled but can be dirty and physically demanding. Shifts are available across different times, including a weekend shift with premium pay. The role is contract-to-union.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.07 / hr.
