We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in a dynamic specialty Pharmacy environment. This position requires expertise in clinical pharmacy practices, and a commitment to patient safety and effective medication management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered medication therapy plans.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and review patient medication histories for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Educate patients and their families on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain proficiency in aseptic technique for the preparation of sterile products and USP compounding standards and practices.
• Other duties assigned by management.
• Stay updated on advancements in pharmacotherapy, medical terminology, patient care.
• The hours for this shift is 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Active pharmacist license in the state of Ohio.

Experience or training in compounding or specialty pharmacy a plus.

Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacotherapy.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
