About the Role
Were looking for an AutoCAD to join a fast-paced, detail-driven team supporting custom construction and millwork projects. This position plays a key role in helping Project Managers deliver high-quality resultson time and within scopeby preparing drawings, organizing documentation, and ensuring seamless project execution.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a 4-day workweek Monday through Thursday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM (Fridays off!) .
Responsibilities :
- Produce detailed and accurate drawings in AutoCAD 2D and Cabinet Vision for project submittals.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project documentation.
- Compile comprehensive installation packets that help field teams execute efficiently and accurately.
- Review contracts, scopes of work, and material requirements to support project planning.
- Partner with Project Managers to communicate across departmentsPurchasing, Engineering, Production, and Installation.
- Participate in project kick-off and weekly planning meetings to stay aligned on schedules and deliverables.
- Assist with material take-offs, order logs, and hardware or specialty item research.
Requirements :
2+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related field.Strong understanding of architectural plans and specifications.Background in carpentry, cabinetry, or millwork is a plus.Proficiency with AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
