Indiana Emergency Room RN Job Details Location : Knox, Indiana (Zip : 46534) – Starke County healthcare jobs in a welcoming rural community Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Emergency Room Registered Nurse position Setting : Rural Emergency Department Facility Size : 53 beds Unit Size : 7-bed Emergency Department Patient Ratio : Up to 4 : 1 Shift : 12 Hour Nights (6 : 45pm – 7 : 15am) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1870–$2210 Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Floating : Required every third weekend (may float to LaPorte Emergency Department) Block Scheduling : Not available Scrub Color : Navy blue Electronic Medical Record : Cerner EMR experience preferred ER RN Qualifications Active Indiana RN license – Registered Nurse ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience Ability to float to other units and emergency departments as needed Must be a traveler living more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Driver's license and permanent home address required upon submission Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rural emergency department Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute medical conditions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Float to other emergency departments as required Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR Follow hospital policies, procedures, and dress code (navy blue scrubs) Apply now to join our healthcare team in Knox, Indiana and take the next step in your Emergency Room nursing career!
