Description : Dietary Director

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Director to lead our nutrition and dietary services team. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of dietary programs to ensure the health and well-being of our residents or clients. Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and monitor dietary plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents or clients
  • Supervise and coordinate the dietary staff, including dietitians, cooks, and support personnel
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create personalized nutrition plans
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and budgeting for dietary supplies and equipment
  • Conduct regular staff training on dietary standards, safety procedures, and new nutritional guidelines
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of dietary services and implement improvements as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to dietary services and compliance

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or a related field; registered dietitian (RD) certification preferred
  • Proven experience in dietary management, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or institutional settings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop and implement dietary programs tailored to diverse needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in computer applications related to dietary management and reporting
