Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience for a multi-location outpatient imaging assignment requiring ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position involves working in outpatient imaging centers specializing in X-Ray and CT scans
  • Patient volume varies by location, averaging 15-30 scans per day
  • General X-ray, outpatient fluoroscopy, and typical outpatient CT procedures are performed
  • Candidates must be willing to work at any of 4 locations, informed in advance before each shift
  • Day shifts with a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7 : 15 AM to 5 : 45 PM; no weekends, call, or holiday shifts
  • Uses Epic EMR and Sectra PACS for imaging records
  • Operates GE and Shimadzu X-ray equipment and Philips CT scanners
  • Lead technologists are present at each site and radiologists are available onsite during the day
  • Primary responsibilities include performing general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT imaging for outpatient populations
  • No weekend, call, or holiday coverage required
  • Must provide a copy of a current driver's license for consideration
  • Two professional references required : one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the past 3 years
  • Candidates will receive 12 hours of orientation
  • Assignment may require working at any imaging center within 15 minutes' distance

  • Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience required
  • Active BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) required
  • Demonstrated IV start skills are mandatory for CT procedures
  • Experience with GE, Shimadzu, and Philips imaging equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR and Sectra PACS systems preferred
  • License required if applicable and must be active at the time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
