We are a fast-growing, dynamic company seeking a Mechanical Assembly Lead to join our headquarters in City of Industry, CA.

Job Summary :

The Mechanical Assembly Lead is responsible for actively participating in and coordinating mechanical assembly operations on the production floor. In addition to performing hands-on assembly tasks, the Lead supports a team of mechanical assemblers to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role requires a strong mechanical background, leadership through example, and effective communication with both team members and management.

Essential Functions :

  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks in accordance with written instructions and specifications.
  • Coordinate daily activities and task assignments within the mechanical assembly team.
  • Support team members by answering questions, clarifying instructions, and assisting with troubleshooting.
  • Ensure any deviations from written instructions are documented and communicated to the floor supervisor and manufacturing engineer.
  • Help maintain production flow and meet schedule targets by working alongside the team.
  • Train and mentor new assemblers on tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct informal quality checks and help identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation of assembly processes, deviations, and feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.

Education and Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or production operations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, components, and assembly techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

  • Non-exempt
  • Full-Time
  • Hours : 7 : 00am- 3 : 30pm (Hours subject to change depending on the needs of the business)
