Scope of Work :

Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in multiple locations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of warehouse associates, maintain inventory accuracy, uphold safety standards, and support operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to keep the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all inventory control procedures, including receiving, labeling, binning, issuing, and conducting regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Maintain strict accountability of stock levels, lot tracking, and proper documentation to prevent loss or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with established inventory procedures, warehouse SOPs, and audit requirements.
  • Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment, ensuring staff are properly trained and certified.
  • Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop efficient workflows for loading / unloading, storage, and distribution of materials.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EM 385-1-1 (if DoD / federal work), and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align supply and demand needs.
  • Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, equipment usage, warehouse efficiency, and staff performance.
  • Implement process improvements for warehouse layout, material flow, and inventory accuracy.
  • Exercise supervisory responsibility to oversee daily operations, ensure task completion, and support overall contract performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Five (5) years of related warehouse experience.
  • Proven leadership (1-2 Years experience) and team management skills with the ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS / ERP), cycle counts, and reconciliation procedures.
  • Forklift certification and demonstrated experience in safe forklift operations.
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required for the position.
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
  • Physical Demands / Work Environment :

  • This position is primarily performed in an office setting; however, regular site visits and field inspections are required. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active work sites when necessary. This may include standing, walking, bending, or climbing for extended periods while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include but is not limited to a criminal background check, motor vehicle record review, and a 5-panel drug test, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
