Responsibilities

Conduct underwriting surveys at policyholder locations to assess workplace safety and health exposures

Develop and submit recommendations to minimize employee injury potential and reduce workers' compensation costs

Influence policyholder decision-makers to implement safety and health recommendations

Prepare effective reports for policyholders and internal partners, and conduct investigations of serious incidents

Coordinate safety and health services for policyholders across multiple regions

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required

3+ years of safety and health experience with a proven track record of results

Achieved or significant progress towards a Safety & Health related master's degree or recognized professional designation (e.g., CSP, ARM, CIH)

Knowledge of workers' compensation insurance and strong understanding of underwriting and claims practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in P&C insurance agent and broker operations

Proven ability to deliver outcomes in a timely manner

Familiarity with occupational medicine provider network features and benefits

Strong customer service and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business software
